How old is the theology of the rapture presented in the Evangelical churches?
This theology has not been around in the current form very long . So what did they say about the rapture 200 years ago?
The concept of the rapture, in connection with premillennialism, was expressed by the American Puritan father and son Increase and Cotton Mather. They held to the idea that believers would be caught up in the air, followed by judgments on the earth and then the millennium.[13][14] The term rapture was used by Philip Doddridge (1738) and John Gill (1748) in their New Testament commentaries, with the idea that believers would be caught up prior to judgment on the earth and Jesus’ Second Coming. The concept of a pre-tribulation rapture was articulated by Baptist Morgan Edwards in an essay published in 1788 in Philadelphia.[15]

There were a few odd churches that talked about it 200 years ago, but it was a really new idea and not accepted at all. It didn’t really get popular until the mid nineteenth century.

No where in the Bible is rapture mentioned. If you’re a biblical Christian, you would discount the concept of the rapture.
When I mean rapture, I mean the concept that Jesus is coming back twice. It’s a one time deal. You better be ready.

You are right. It is a new false doctrine. People twist the Bible to tickle your ears. Truth is some of us Christians will have to die for Christ in the tribulation. Tough times are coming. You people who are pre-tribbers like I was until 1999 better get strong in the Lord. The rapture is post-trib.
