Can Jews get into heaven according to Christian theology?
My understanding is that one must accept Jesus as one’s personal savior to get into heaven, according to Christian theology. Jews don’t, but in the Bible they’re God’s chosen people. So is there another way for them to get into heaven without accepting Jesus as their personal savior, according to Christian theology?
According to the Catholic Church, "Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience. Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life.” (Lumen Gentium 16)

Jewish people also need to believe in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, in order to get into heaven.
Because works don’t save. Judaism is a false religion.
The truth is that JESUS is the Messiah, and the only way into heaven for anyone, Jewish or Gentile, is by believing in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven. John 3:16!
That easy!
Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much!
And the Trinity is true!
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what! John 3:16, John 6:47!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!

Anyone Jew or no Jew,will not get into heaven unless they accept Christ as the son of God and their savior. The Jews surely deny this so it doesn’t look good for them, once again, same story, different century. It seems they are chosen, chosen to be despised forever.I have nothing against Jews, but they have had a rough go of it forever. You can not deny this.ADD; Eph 2:16 That he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross. First, the cross makes peace between Jew and Gentile; and second, the blood of the cross cleanses both before God, and makes peace between them and God. We as Christians have no problem w/ this, but guess what religion does.

According to Christian teaching, the six million Jews that Hitler gassed are burning in hell. Nevermind that many of them were good people. But Hitler, a Christian, is in heaven with God.
Martin Luther, the founder of Protestant Christianity, once said that anyone who wants to be a Christian "should tear out the eyes of his Reason." Yeah, I can see why so many Christians subscribe to this nonsense now.

Your assumption that "Jews dont" is incorrect. You forget that all of the first Christians were Jews.
If you are asking if merely being a descendant of Jacob will be sufficient for salvation, then the answer is no. Jews must be saved the same way as gentiles, by accepting Christ. In the first part of the book of Acts, the church spent all of its energy trying to reach the Jews. Why bother if it wasn’t necessary?

Jesus was a Jew of course but did not follow the ‘old’ Jewish religion as He came to earth from Heaven specifically to die a painful death on The Cross as a sacrifice for the many, many sins of us – mankind.
You are correct that if you accept Jesus into your heart and life and really ‘ believe’ then you will indeed go to Heaven when God decides to take you from this life here on earth.
Many Jews have now come to faith in the Lord Jesus and for this we are very thankful to God.

I hope the above is sufficient to answer your question. However, as far as heaven is concerned, only 144,000 individuals will be taken from earth to heaven, Revelations 14:1. The rest will remain on earth, a paradise earth 7:9-17.
What will happen to the wicked if the earth is to become a paradise you may well ask. Put this question to the next bible student who come’s to your door.

It depends on which Christian theology. In Catholicism it would be yes. This would probably apply to Orthodox Christianity as well but I’m not positive about that. In the sects created after about 1500 AD it would be no in most cases. Protestant/Fundamentalist theology has a different understanding of what salvation is. Originally salvation was a process that you entered into. If you died in a state of grace you went to heaven. Chris’s answer sums up fundamentalist theology quite well. Salvation and being a Christian is based on belief and it’s instant. Believe in Jesus and you are on your way to heaven. Older forms of Christianity will have none of this since the Bible says even Satan and devils believe in Jesus and they are not saved. We have another problem too. If you believe sin (murder, rape, robbery) is instantly forgiven in Christian fundamentalism how could this effect behavior? Think about it. No punishment for anything you do. When people do commit horrific acts their belief is denied. In other words the belief never took root in the person or they wouldn’t have done it.
Keep in mind that the theology of "Born again" and "Personal Savior" are relative new to Christianity having been preached for the first time around 1960. You won’t find any mention about these doctrines before that year. In fact you won’t even find "personal savior" in the Bible.
I can’t speak about what Jews need to do to get into heaven. They have a different covenant. I hope that one day I’ll be seeing all of my Jewish friends there and that God will have mercy on all their souls.

Somewhere in the bible.
The Catholic Church teaches that there is a Heaven and Hell. We are to hope that all will be saved. Some will choose God, while others reject him. It is not a one time decision (for most people), but a lifelong process. God judges our heart. He knows the state of our soul. He knows to what extend we have rejected or accepted Grace. Each person is allotted the necessary time to gain eternal life. God is not bound by human rules! Heaven is his home. He can invite whomever he chooses! I have a feeling that some we think are in heaven were condemned. Many rejected by society are in heaven.
God bless,
A Roman Catholic persevering in faith!
