Is there a bible verse that will tell someone that you need jesus?

My grandmom is jewish, and I have been trying to talk to her about christ. She says that she has been a good person, and that will get her into heaven. I need a bible verse that I can tell her that says that you can’t get to heaven without Jesus, but I don’t know where to find one. Help!

Is there a bible verse pertaining to people attracting people like themselves?

I am trying to explain to my family member who is making good decisions for herself and working towards her bachelors that she is beautiful, kind, very smart, and has everything going for her. She believes these things about herself but she doesn’t believe she can attract some one of the same caliber. If I can quote her a bible verse I think it would have a better impact. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Galatians 5:22-23 attributes: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance".

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight". (1 Peter 3:3-4)

Maybe something from Proverbs 31:10-31 like:

Is there a Bible verse about someone staying over at a friends house ?

My dad will not let me stay at my friends house or have friends sleepover unless i can find a verse in the Bible that says friends would sleepover :/ does anyone know something related to this?

Which Bible verse in the Bible talks about the fruit of the spirit?

Specifically, which bible verse(s) talks about people will now you by your fruit when it can correspond directly to the fruit of the spirit?

This is a cut & paste , but should help you . (i am on a lunch break & don’t have time to put my own words together)

Fruit of the Spirit -
"Fruit of the Spirit" is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life. Using the King James Version of Galatians 5:22-23, these attributes are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. We learn from scripture that these are not individual "fruits" from which we pick and choose. Rather, the fruit of the Spirit is one ninefold "fruit" that characterizes all who truly walk in the Holy Spirit. Collectively, these are the fruits that all Christians should be producing in their lives

Fruit of the Spirit – The Nine Biblical Attributes
The fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian’s transformed life. In order to mature as believers, we should study and understand the attributes of the fruit:

Love – "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16). Through Jesus Christ, our greatest goal is to do all things in love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

Joy – "The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2).

Peace – "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1). "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13).

Longsuffering (patience) — We are "strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness" (Colossians 1:11). "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love" (Ephesians 4:2).

Gentleness (kindness) — We should live "in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left" (2 Corinthians 6:6-7).

Goodness – "Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power" (2 Thessalonians 1:11). "For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth" (Ephesians 5:9).

Faith (faithfulness) – "O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth" (Isaiah 25:1). "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith" (Ephesians 3:16-17).

Meekness – "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted" (Galatians 6:1). "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love" (Ephesians 4:2).

Temperance (self-control) – "But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love" (2 Peter 1:5-7

What would be a good Bible verse for my Sign Language group?

I am the head of the sign language group for the Baptist Collegiate Ministries at my college. The group is called Speechless. I have been trying to find a good bible verse for out group, but have been having some trouble.

I respect what you’re trying to do. The bible, I’m sure, has many options, but I found three that may be close to what you seek.

Mk:13:4: Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

I like Mk 13:4 because it signifies the meaningfulness of signs and not speech.

1Jn:1:5: This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John’s message is also relevant (to me) because it sends a message that requires no speech and actually removes the importance of speech.

Galatians 6:6: Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Galatians has always been a favorite of mine and I like the choice of ‘communicate’ that crosses all barriers.

So, there are likely better choices, but these three I found touching and challenging. good luck .

How do you translate a bible verse from English to the Thai language. Any Thai people on here?

I want to translate the bible verse, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," Hebrew 11:1 into the Thai scripture. Can any Thai person help me to translate it to the Thai language?

ฮบ. 11:1 – ความเชื่อคือความแน่ใจในสิ่งที่เราหวังไว้ เป็นความรู้สึกมั่นใจว่า สิ่งที่ยังไม่ได้เห็นนั้นมีจริง

What’s the Bible verse in John that talks about people will see you by the fruit you bear?

I’m doing a bible lesson on the fruit of the spirit. But I can’t seem to memorize the bible verse in john that talks about people will know you by the fruit you bear(or something like that). Could anyone help me?

Matthew 5:16 " Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
