Purebred Christians???????
Hi. Last week at Chruch Paster Maine told the congregation that he had a theory. Most didn’t agree. He says that since earth is so full of people nowadays Heaven wont have room for everyone. Because of that there may be some sort of competition to get through the Pearly Gates. He said Purebred Christians will stand the highest chance (Purebread Christian meaning both your parents were Christian BEFORE you were born and you are a Christian as well). I think its probably not true but it never hurts! Personally, I could care less because I’m guaranteed entry to Heaven because not only am I a Purebred Christian but I’ve only committed 5 sins my entire life (stealing x2, lying x2, lust x1)!!!!
What do you think? I’m sure he’s not right but I am wondering if there is more to it than he’s saying. I haven’t done much Scriptural studying so I don’t know what all rules there are.
Could you really care less?
No, going to heaven is not a contest.
Not much different from Hitler’s way of looking at things…or Mel Gibson"s.

Add pride to that list of sins, you’re clearly bragging in the last sentence. And technically, null cannot become overcrowded so there is no competition at all.

Please find a church that worships God for real. Your pastor is not a Godly man if he says things like this.

God knew exactly how many people would be saved before time began. There is no shortage of space in heaven. No competition. Its a gift freely given to all who believe. Heaven can not be earned it is not deserved. You will add many more sins to the list you have made before you life is over. But if you believe in Jesus God will say "you never sinned" because the perfect life Jesus lived counts as the perfect life required for all of us one for all. Because of Adams sin we all were lost. Because of Jesus perfect life and sacrifice we all are saved. If we believe.
John 3:16-17 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him….
