New Options and Features for Radar Detectors

Radar detector? Me?

Yep. It all started with a ticket I got back before Christmas. Yes I do speed from time to time (well most of the time) but I’m really good about not speeding in congested areas or where there are children. I’m also good at spotting cops and speed traps but this time I fly right by a white van in plain sight and BAM they mail me a ticket. Those speed vans are nothing nice.

I paid the ticket and started researching to try and find the Best Radar Detectors 2011 at the best price – looking at features and cost.

Took me an afternoon surfing and checking review sites to find the Best Radar Detector for me. I was able to find a great site with all the best radar detectors from Escort, Beltronics, Cobra & Whistler. I picked up an Escort unit that even detects red light cameras.

Just Do Something: How to Make a Decision Without Dreams, Visions, Fleeces, Open Doors, Random Bible Verses, Casting Lots, Liver Shivers,

Hyper-spiritual approaches to finding God’s will don’t work. Kevin DeYoung counsels Christians to settle down, make choices, and do the hard work of seeing those choices through. Too often, he writes, God’s people tinker around, worrying that they haven’t found God’s perfect will for their lives. Or — even worse — they do absolutely nothing, stuck in a frustrated state of paralyzed indecision, waiting…waiting…waiting for clear, direct, unmistakable direction. But He has already revealed his plan for ou

Banner ideas for Churches.

A church has an endless number of ways that they can use a vinyl banner. From announcing a special event, to an everyday informational sign, a vinyl banner can be a cost effective way to purchase a necessary sign.

Here are a few ideas of how banners, both small and large, can be used at a church.

Banner Idea #1 – Service times. If your church has set service times, a small banner displayed in a banner stands can be very useful. This type of vinyl banner can be easily moved around when it is not in use, and brought back outside when it is needed. Service times can easily displayed on a permanent vinyl banner, which can be much more cost effective than have multiple temporary signs made.

Banner Idea #3 – Special Events. Churchs are known for holding community events, and a vinyl banner can be a great and inexpensive word to let the community know, and get them involved. This type of  vinyl banner can be used year after year, if the information displayed on the banner is general in nature. A general informative message pertaining to location and time the event will happen can be displayed on the banner.

If you choose a large custom banner, it can be hung outside of the church entrance, or on the wall of a room inside the church. Small banners can be displayed using banner stands, or by a more temporary method of hanging it on a wall.

Banner Idea #3 – Welcoming message. You can use a large vinyl banner to welcome your parishioners to your service. This type of custom banner should be hung either over the entrance to your building, or in the apse area of the church. This is a great way to get your welcoming message across easily, and the banner can be used for many years to come.

Banner Idea #4 – Congratulatory Messages and Announcements. Vinyl banners can work well to display a number of congratulatory messages that can be reused. For example, for a wedding service, a banner bearing a message could be displayed in the church hall or at the entrance to the church.

If your church is holding a christening or a baptism, once again, a banner could be used to announce the event. These banners can be general in nature, such as “Baptism Today” along with a Bible quote that is pertinent to the event.

Banner Idea #5 – Picnics and Events Held Outside the Church. If you regularly hold events that take place in another location, a banner will allow you to take your message with you. Mobility can be the key to attracting and notifying the community of what exactly is going on and this can be the perfect tool for that.

Vinyl banners can be hung indoors or outdoors and the fabric is made to withstand the rigors of the environment.

Energy: You can find it in your Money

Do you know that Money is a form of cosmic energy and similar to all other energies, money has to be circulated , if not it will ” harden ” and resulting in difficulties subsequently. Money is also vital to everyone of us because we need it to buy services or goods from other people to fill our own needs and desires.

If we need money to go to flow our way and grow , we have to keep it circulating . This is a very simple theory yet it is not easy to understand . This not mean that if you have a purpose saving money under your bed , that is something viewed as useless !

Psychic Maria Duval recommends that we shoudn’t treat saving just for some “rainy days” ahead, but as a mean of developing the correct enthusiasm for work . Because financial success requires a certain enthusiasm in your daily tasks . Your emotion is what gives you the impetus the work for extra money.

Emotion spurs you towards your objective, assists you to remain strong in your tasks, and even makes your work easy and gratifying. If there is a lack of this emotional spur, saving money is very difficult. No matter how strong your determination is, it won’t make you a frugal person unless you have some kind of focus.

Some people rightly think that a stack of money can bring you calm of mind just in case of some disastrous times ahead. However, you need to differentiate between two different types of conduct depending on the emotion involved, namely, the negative feeling of worry or fear and positive psyche of love or fulfillment .

Some people are goaded purely by fear, which makes them want to put something by for a rainy day. But how uninspiring to live in continual fear of disaster ! How damaging this is to their psychological and spiritual balance, their spirit of initiative, enterprise and freedom. It’s better not to save at all than to live like this, don’t you think so?

For others, saving money regularly serves their desires to bring pleasure to themselves and people around them, like touring, go for trip , new car , helping the less fortunates, for their children’s training, and etc. And the energy of life, love and sharing is not blocked but helps to fuel focus and dreams in a positive and constructive way.

In the end, the benefit of saving money is really to boast your zeal for work as subconsciously, you will be growing ways to improve your work so that you learn more and earn more.

Is the Bible in Favor of the Vegetarians?

This is a new series (1-29) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 29 in the Old Testament says: Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of the whole earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

Verse No. 29 in the New Testament says: When he (Herod the king) had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.

Verse No. 29 in the Noble Quran says: Allah made the earth a resting place for you and the heaven a canopy and He sends down rain from the cloud then brings forth with it subsistence for you of the fruits; therefore do not set up rivals to Allah while you know.

————————

The verse No. 29 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:29

The verse says: Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

In this verse, the Bible determines man’s food; it is every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it.

A vegetarian is person who does not eat or does not believe in eating meat, fish, fowl, or, in some cases, any food derived from animals, as eggs or cheese, but subsists on vegetables, fruits, nuts, grain, etc.

In the verse Genesis 1:29, Herbs and fruits must be man’s food, including corn, and all the products of the earth; it seems likely that the Bible is in favor of the vegetarians.

————————

The verse No. 29 in the New Testament is Matthew 2:4

In the articles 26-28, Matthew 2:1-3 say:

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying: Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

In this article, Matthew 2:4 says:

When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.

This means that Herod the king gathered all the chief priests, the scribes of the people and teachers of the law; he asked them where the Christ (the Messiah) was to be born.

————————

Verse No. 29 in the Noble Quran is 2:22,

Chapter 2 is Surah: AL-BAQARA (THE COW),

Verses 2:1-5 are talking about the believers.

Verses 2:6-7 are talking about the disbelievers.

Verses 2:8-20 are talking about the hypocrites.

The address of verses 2:21-24 is general to mankind.

In the article 28, verse 2:21 says:

O mankind! worship your guardian-lord, who created you and those who came before you, that you may have the chance to learn righteousness (so that you will be cautious).

In this article, verse 2:22 says:

Who (Allah) made the earth a resting place for you and the heaven a canopy and (who) sends down rain from the cloud then brings forth with it subsistence for you of the fruits; therefore do not set up rivals to Allah while you know.

The meaning of verse 2:22:

It is Allah, Who assigned to you, created for you, the earth for a couch, like a carpet that is laid out, neither extremely hard, nor extremely soft so as to make it impossible to stand firm upon it; and heaven for an edifice, like a roof; and sent down from the heaven water, wherewith He brought forth, all types of fruits for your provision; so set not up compeers to Allah, that is partners in worship, while you know that He is the Creator, that you create not and that only One that creates can be Allah.

In other words, the verse says: Who has appointed the earth a resting-place for you, a place for dwelling and sleeping, and the sky a canopy, raised high above; and causes water to pour down from the sky, i.e. rain, thereby producing through this rain fruits, different kinds of fruit as food for you, as sustenance for you and all created beings.

So do not set up rivals to Allah, do not say that Allah has peers, different forms or coequals when you know that He is the fashioner of all these things.

It is also said that (when you know) means: when you know from your own scripture that Allah does not have a son, coequal or peer.

Has anyone else realised that religion is just the worship of astrology?

Ive been comparing the story of Horus with the story of Jesus. These so called saviours lived 3000 yrs apart yet have the same story to tell.We worship the same gods as the ancient Egyptians. For example when the North African rains came they would flow downhill into the north of the country thus flooding the nile delta and its tributaries. The ancient Egyptians realised this flooding although bringing devastation was also a so called godsend as it fertalized the surrounding area by laying down fresh minerals( and weve all heard how fertile the soil was supposed to be around the nile delta),thus bringing new life and washing away the old. What im getting at though is this- They used to call this event/celebration ‘The arga-noa’ which means a ‘wet moon’ as the moon was in its lower quarter and thus resembles an ark.Therfore this is where we get the christian story af noahs ark or the arga-noa,its just a story about the positioning of celestial bodies in the heavens or astrotheology.

Some interesting observations, but this is a somewhat spurious and half finished piece of research.

I respectfully suggest that you go back and study both religions in greater detail to discover the multiple differences, not least of which is that Judaism and Christianity are monotheistic whereas ancient Egyptian religion was polytheistic.

Jerusalem Prayer Team Supporting Israel

Mike Evans, an author of several bestselling books launch The Jerusalem Prayer Team to commemorate with Corrie Ten Boom in Holland.

Enlisting one million people in America is the top priority of The Jerusalem Prayer Team as well as churches to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem. The campaign expects to create a bridge of love among Christians to pray for the Jewish people in Israel.

Pat Boone, Pat Robertson, Tim LaHaye, John Maxwell, Tommy Tenney and others support the prayer campaign.

Evans said that these Christians will be praying for the Jewish people as they are in the midst of terror, similar to what America had experienced last September 11.

Praying for the Jewish people as well as the Jerusalem is a Biblical mandate that no prophet, priest, King that didn’t pray for both. He said that you can’t love Jesus without loving the Jewish people.

The Jerusalem Prayer Team appeared because of Corrie ten Boom’s legacy. Nazi soldiers caught Corrie Ten Boom doing weekly prayer meeting for the Jewish people in 1844. Ten Boom family’s lives were in danger for 100 years pursuing on what they believe is right. They continue living out their Christian faith in every aspects of their lives. Because of this, around 800 Jewish people were saved from the Nazis.

Ten Boom sisters Corrie and Betsie were imprisoned and life there was unbearable.  Yet they continue to spread Jesus’ love among the prisoners until Betsie died. Corrie also believed that her life was a gift from God. She continues spreading about Jesus by her worldwide ministry to 60 countries. A movie “The Hiding Place” was based on her life story.

Evans pointed that The Jerusalem Prayer Team brings back Corrie to life. During such difficult times, what the church can do was to unify in prayer. Evans meet with several leaders for the prayer effort. Corrie’s desire is to give love and refuge to the Jewish people as what God says from the scripture. The Jewish people only knew all the bad things that some Christians did and not those acts by more Ten Booms all over the world.
