What is a good bible verse for this theme?

We are making shirts that are camo and want a Bible Verse on them. We want it to go along with the theme of searching for God or finding God. Got any verses that would fit?

" … Seek, and ye shall find … " Mat. 7:7

im getting a tattoo of a star on my leg near my ankle and i want a Bible Verse that kind of has to do it with it and im having trouble finding a good one. any suggestions?

My husband and I were just talking about tattoos. A friend we know who works with my husband, who now is about 30 got a large tattoo on her lower back when she was young. She felt a lot different then. She hates it now and has looked into removing it but it is costly and painful. When you are young there are things that seem like they are a good idea but in 10 years, let alone 20 or 30, you will feel so differently.

As far as scriptures, the important thing is to "feel" the impact of them on your heart and try to live them the best you can.

As a parent we would want to instill the scriptures into our child’s heart and here is a scripture about that.

Deut. 6:6, 7 And these words that I am commanding you today must prove to be on your heart; and you must inculcate them in your son and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up.

Just something to think about.

What is a good Bible Verse to encourage people when you have to say good bye and you don’t know how long it will be until you see them again? Just any verse about being with them or something like that.
Please help me.
Thanks!

Preachers say benedictions, or blessings, at the end of church service that are meant to say good-bye to the congregation until you see them again. Here are a few scriptures from the New International Version that may help:

"The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

"Finally, brothers, good-by. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you." (II Corinthians 13:11)

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

"May the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." (II Corinthians 13:14)

And finally…
"Say good-bye to me, but not to the thought of me." – this is not scripture, but from a Bible resource called the Lord’s Supper (see link below)

Hope this helps!

I know there is a Bible Verse that addresses not doing things that might appear to have the wrong intent, or be sinful. The verse is specifically directed at being careful to put the right appearance on things. I just can’t remember where it was.

1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from all appearance of evil.

BIBLE VERSE???????????????????????????????

im a christian there was a death in my family today and i just want to confort thme with a Bible Verse so they know his with god can i use this……

JOHN 14:3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also

im not sure becuase when jesus was saying this he was talking to his desiples so would it be wrong for me to use it for a family death to know his with god?? because i think that it refers to us too u know i really like this verse its very comforting honestley it really is

he says
… i will come again…
so it wont be right to use it coz jesus hasnt come on earth yet :S i dont know should i use it ?

It’s a fine verse to use in this situation, as long as the deceased is a christian.

I am trying to write a song and would like your input! Please tell me your favorite Bible Verse and what it means to you!

psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

It’s the exact center of the Bible, not a bad place to be.

My youth minister and his wife are doing a personal ad for me in our program. I’m a cheerleader. They told me to do whatever to the ad, for me to design it. What is a good Bible Verse for this situation? My parents used Philippians 4:13. So I dont wanna use that one again.

proverbs 29:11 i think, iron sharpens iron so does one man to another.

I just moved across the country because my dad got a new job, and I’m super sad about it. I miss my home. I’m very close to my Aunts and Uncles and Cousins, and even my older sister and boyfriend are there. I know it’s God’s will, but I could really use a reassuring Bible Verse.

Deuteronomy 31:6-8

Exodus 14:14

1 Peter 5:7

I would encourage you for following what you find is God’s will for you. If you are stepping out for God, which clearly is a challenge in this situation, everything will be taken care of–it already has been taken care of.

God is bigger.

What is the Bible Verse that talks about a man who does not take care of his family is no better then a sinner?

1 Timothy 5:8

I have a friend who doesn’t really believe in god… Is there a Bible Verse that can really get her thinking?

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. (Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV)

*Don’t worry about all these negative comments, don’t let them discourage you for trying to share the Gospel. I do not know why anyone would not want to feel like you have a great being like God looking out for you. Someone to love you unconditionally. Someone who wants you to be happy and safe and can do all those things for you.
***For all of you non believers, may you find the truth.
