Verse No. 34 in the Old Testament says: So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
Verse No. 34 in the New Testament says: After hearing the king (Herod), they (the Magi) went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was.
Verse No. 34 in the Noble Quran describes those who are wicked and evildoers as those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah ordered to be joined, and (who) make mischief in the earth: those are they who are the losers.

The verse No. 34 in the Old Testament is Genesis 2:3
The verse says: So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
The verse means that God Blessed the Seventh Day and Made it Holy; because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation (he had rested from all his work which God created and made). In the commentary, it is said that man is the last creature which God had done. This indicates that God in the Bible had finished the process of the creation of the Heavens and Earth and man was the last one which had been created. In other word, God’s creation is finished and there is no more creation.
In respect to the very important and risky topic: “God rested”, the article 33 discussed these issues:
What is the physiology of Rest?
What is the Linguistics of Rest?
Does God Rest? The Bible: Yes, the Quran: Never Ever.
Does God Sleep? The Bible: Yes, the Quran: Never Ever.
Why this Topic is very important and risky?
In this article, the answer of the question why the Topic of God Rested is very important and risky, is given. Then, a quick comparison of the creation of the heavens and the earth in Bible versus the Quran is given
———–
In Bible: God Rested; why this Topic is very important and risky?
It is crucial to repeat again that the first pillar of Muslim’s faith is DO Not mess up with Allah, your Lord. Allah is not like us, no deficit(s) like rest, nap, slumber, sleep, eating etc. can touch him. He does not need any of that things that we need.
What if one believes that Allah, the Lord does any of the above or the alike? Then he destroys the first pillar of faith; this means, clear cut, that he becomes unbeliever and he deserves severe Punishment in the Afterlife. In other words, it is Unforgivable Sin that shall not be forgiven unto man to say or to believe that the Lord, the Creator, rests, slumber, sleep etc. Such sin(s) will lead to the Eternal Fire.

God is Done Creation but Allah is Still Creating
In the Bible God’s creation is completed and done and there is no more creation; but in the Quran Allah creates and He is Still Creating.
Verse 24:45 says:
…Allah creates whatever he will. Allah is powerful over everything (lo! Allah is able to do all things).
Verse 30:54 says:
…He creates whatever he will. he is the knower, the capable, the mighty (and it is He who has all knowledge and power.
The use of the present tense in Arabic (creates) indicates its occurrence in the present and in the future.

Creator in English versus Khalek and Khallak in Arabic
Verse 36:81 says:
QARIB: is he who created the heavens and the earth unable to create their like? yes, indeed, he is the creator, the knower.
SHAKIR: is not he who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? yea! and he is the creator (of all), the knower
PICKTHAL: is not he who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? aye, that he is! for he is the all-wise creator,
YUSUFALI: “is not he who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?” – yea, indeed! for he is the creator supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!
In this verse, the Arabic word “Khallak” is imperfectly translated as creator. However, Khalek in Arabic is the creator in English. But what does Khallak mean? Khallak means the creator who is still creating, who is repeatedly, incessantly and persistently creating. Such forms of Khalek and Khallak are not found in English.

Allah is Creating what we do not know; this is not in Bible
In the process of the Creation of the heavens and the earth, the Bible specifies the creatures; but the Quran says that Allah creates and is creating what you do not know
Verse 16:8 says:
…and He creates what you do not know (and He creates (other) things of which ye have no knowledge).
———–
Allah increases the creation as He wills; this is not in Bible
The Bible does not say that God increases the creation; but the Quran says that Allah increases the creation as he wills.
Verse 35:1 says:
…He (Allah) increases the creation as he wills (He adds to creation as he pleases). Allah has power over all things (is able to do all things).

Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days, not like our days
Yes, the Quran says that Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days; but are those days like our days with evenings and mornings?
In other words, was the day of creation 24 hours like our day?
The Quran does not tell, but in other verses the Quran talks about a day whose value is a thousand years by our reckoning and also about a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand (50,000) years.
Verse 32:5 says:
… then it will ascend to him in one day, a day whose value is a thousand years by your reckoning (in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count).
Verse 70:4 says:
… in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years (in a day whereof the span is fifty thousand years).
The Quran does not tell which of the two days (that of 1000 years or that of 50,000 years) was used in the creation of the heavens and the earth. On the other hand, the Bible determined each day of creation by evening and morning i.e. each day was 24 hours.

The verse No. 34 in the New Testament is Matthew 2:9
In the article 33, King Herod sent the Magi to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently, make a careful search for the young child (the Lord Jesus); and when you have found him (As soon as you find him), bring me word again (report to me), that I may come and worship him also.
In this article, Matthew 2:9 says: After hearing the king (Herod), they (the Magi) went their way; and the star, which they had seen in the east, went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was.
It is very interesting that the star which they (the Magi) had seen in the east (Iran today), went on before them until it came and stood over the place where the Child was. What kind of star was it? What was its speed? I really have no clue.

Verse No. 34 in the Noble Quran is 2:27,
Chapter 2 is Surah AL-BAQARA (THE COW),
In the article 26, verse 2:26 says that Allah leads many astray, from the truth on account of their disbelieving in it, and thereby He guides many, believers on account of their belief in it; and thereby He leads none astray except the wicked, those that reject obedience to Him. Allah misleads many and guides many. ‘ but he misleads none except the evildoers,
Verse 2:27 describes those who are wicked and evildoers.
The verse says: those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah ordered to be joined, and (who) make mischief in the earth: those are they who are the losers.
The meaning of verse 2:27
The verse describes those who are wicked and evildoers as those who:
1) break the covenant of Allah regarding the Prophet Muhammad after ratifying it, after sanctioning, confirming and vouchsafing it; Those such as, He has described, break the contract Allah made with them in the revealed Books to belief in Muhammad , after its solemn binding, after it has been confirmed with them and
2) sever that which Allah has commanded of oaths and kinsfolk relations to be joined to Muhammad, and who: those who cut what Allah has commanded should be joined, of belief in the Prophet Muhammad, of kinship and other matters.
3) make mischief in the earth by preventing people from the Religion of Muhammad and the Quran; those who do corruption in the earth by way of their transgressing and impeding faith.
Those are they who are the losers, the duped in that they lose both this world and the Hereafter; the ones thus described, shall be the losers, since, they shall end up in the Fire, made everlasting for them.

It is very premature to ask this question:
Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?
Wait and you will see.
