Is there a Bible verse about someone staying over at a friends house ?
My dad will not let me stay at my friends house or have friends sleepover unless i can find a verse in the Bible that says friends would sleepover :/ does anyone know something related to this?
Proverbs 25 (Amplified Bible) 17Let your foot seldom be in your neighbor’s house, lest he become tired of you and hate you.
Find whatever the Catholic priests justify their rect-overs with.

In the bible, women were considered property, and had no rights. They were only allowed to "sleep over" when they were purchased.

I don’t know any verses but i know that when Jesus traveled he stayed at other peoples houses. I don’t believe he ever really owned his own house, but i’m no historian.

Also in Johns Gospel, Jesus left Jerusalem to stay with his friends at Bethany, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Oops Luke.

I’m sure Jesus slept over with his disciples all the time since he didn’t have a house of his own.

wow, what a weirdo your dad is.
im sure there is something about hospitality.

Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
Looks like it is against you!
It means not to our wear your welcome.
But, Christ invited His disciples to stay with Him,
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
Give your Dad both and let him decide!

My tongue-in-cheek response is that the bible probably doesn’t mention your dad’s car, but he still has one. Consistency, thou art a virtue!
– I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other left (Luke 17:34).
– Again, if two lie together, then they have heat; but how can one be warm alone? (Ecclesiastes 4:11).
Your dad may not accept those verses, but the answers above about Christ sending the disciples out two by two are quite clear. In their travels, they stayed together in whatever house welcomed them, for that was the law of hospitality in those days — to welcome and lodge strangers.
