bible verse that would be good for a start tattoo?
im getting a tattoo of a star on my leg near my ankle and i want a bible verse that kind of has to do it with it and im having trouble finding a good one. any suggestions?
My husband and I were just talking about tattoos. A friend we know who works with my husband, who now is about 30 got a large tattoo on her lower back when she was young. She felt a lot different then. She hates it now and has looked into removing it but it is costly and painful. When you are young there are things that seem like they are a good idea but in 10 years, let alone 20 or 30, you will feel so differently.
As far as scriptures, the important thing is to "feel" the impact of them on your heart and try to live them the best you can.
As a parent we would want to instill the scriptures into our child’s heart and here is a scripture about that.
Deut. 6:6, 7 And these words that I am commanding you today must prove to be on your heart; and you must inculcate them in your son and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up.
Just something to think about.
Hosea 13:16
Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
Ezekiel 23:19-20
19 Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt. 20 There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

And the body is the temple, is about avoiding things like idolatry and sexual sins. Not about tattoos or piercings.
Christians can have tattoos.
I don’t personally want a tattoo, since I like my body the way Jesus made it
