im a christian there was a death in my family today and i just want to confort thme with a bible verse so they know his with god can i use this……
JOHN 14:3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also
im not sure becuase when jesus was saying this he was talking to his desiples so would it be wrong for me to use it for a family death to know his with god?? because i think that it refers to us too u know i really like this verse its very comforting honestley it really is

so it wont be right to use it coz jesus hasnt come on earth yet :S i dont know should i use it ?

This is a great Bible verse to use to comfort and assure loved ones of christians who have gone to be with The Lord. Just because Jesus has not returned to get the christians (Rapture) yet, does not take away the comfort and assurance we christians have when we die….our spirits go to Heaven immediately! God bless
