Do you agree that Jesus = Horus?
Why is it not obvious to people that Jesus is simply the continuation of the Egyptian god Horus, respun for Jews via Old Testament exegesis? Even the birth story is straight out of astrotheology. Revelation is also obviously astrotheological.
Most historians will not admit this, but, most historians are Christians, so I wouldn’t expect them to be unbiased on this point. They start with the assumption Jesus was god incarnate and go from there, so of course they are never going to reach the straightforward conclusion.
This knowledge has existed for well over a 100 years, long before the Zeitgeist movie began to popularize it.

Most Christians aren’t willing to look outside their Bible or those who agree with the bible.
I agree – Jesus as a savior = myth based on Horus and several other deities of the day.

This knowledge has been around for longer than 100 years. Way back in the second century AD the pagans were pointing out that Christians had not only stolen most of their ideas from older religions, but had also managed to mis-interpret most of the stories told by those earlier religions.
The Christians remained a joke for about 400 years until they gained political power and silenced the opposition.

Jesus is Jesus ^^ He is not the continuation of the Egyptian god horus… Do you have the prove?
It’s all about faith, believe something that you couldn’t see but know it’s the truth *He is the way, the life and the truth*.. sometimes, it’s hard to prove it..

It’s clear that Jesus was based on Horus and other earler deities, however it would be false to say that they are the SAME thing. It’s like saying Christmas = Yule. Yes, the Christians adapted us pagans’ Yule for their own purposed, but they’re not the same- they celebrate two similar, but separate things.

I don’t know how to answer this. I respect Horus and I respect Jesus who was a man, a prophet and certain an ascended master, but I don’t think he was Horus. Jesus was more like Osiris, died and risen like the Sun each night and morning.
